We sent our first child off to school today! Katie has been asking for the past year about going to school, so we decided to send her to kindergarten half-day for the next couple of months (when we will be moving!) She was supposed to start last week but go sick. She was excited to get her doctor's permission and was off to school today. She wasn't scared or sad at all and had a great time. I am glad she comes home at lunch so we still have her around for a lot of the day.
Our home school started on August 1st. I wanted to start early so that we could get a few good weeks in before our new baby is born. It is a great privilege to school our kids at home. I am a thankful mommy.
