Merry Christmas!

Thanksgiving

 We had a lovely Thanksgiving this year with good friends. Anna was put in charge of making the centerpiece. Delicious food was provided and enjoyed by all and even carving pumpkins were thrown into the mix.

Anniversary Hike

Scott and I were able to take a wonderful day away and go for a hike. We hiked much farther than we are usually able to with a 2 year strapped on Scott's back. It was a beautiful day and we happily remembered 14 years of marriage. I'm feeling super blessed to have such a great husband.

 We were trying to hike to a waterfall but somehow got off the path. We persevered and hiked up to a place where we could see it from a distance.

 There is a streak in the middle of the pic here- the waterfall! This is the closest we got to it.....

Honoring Dad

 While Scott's parents were visiting last month, we hosted a lunch in his honor. One of Scott's friends, who is his dad's age, helped us immensely by planning the gathering, inviting the guests, AND cooking the main foods (soup and kebabs.) It was a beautiful day and we set up tables in our back yard for the occasion.

 Scott's dad received a special hat and coat to mark the day!

Cooking happened outside as well. Here our friend is dishing up the soup he made to serve to the men.

Turning Eight

 Katie had an awesome birthday party including..... Barbie pinata, pin the lips on Barbie, and a beautiful cake. Grammy helped with all the preparations..... making all the Barbie faces and the cake. We are so glad you were with us Grammy and Papa!

Turning Two

 Our little guy turned 2! We celebrated with him at a restaurant/ play place in the city. 

 It was wonderful to be able to celebrate with grandparents!
